Terrorists strike at 5 North Sinai checkpoints

A spokesman for the Egyptian armed forces reported Wednesday that terrorists had launched simultaneous attacks on checkpoints in the Sinai Peninsula -- the only part of Egypt that lies in Asia rather than Africa.
