The rise of the killer robots -- and why we need to stop them

Lethal autonomous weapons (or as the media like to call them, "killer robots") were back on the agenda at the U.N. last week. The Campaign to Stop Killer Robots launched in 2013, and pleasingly the issue was quickly taken up by the U.N. Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) in Geneva.
