Saudi coalition? Don't get too excited

The announcement this week that Saudi Arabia has organized a military coalition to fight the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria might be taken seriously if the Arab and Muslim states participating had any kind of track record that demonstrated coherence, single-minded purpose or resolve in addressing any of the challenges that have confronted their broken, angry and dysfunctional region.
